when a porsche just aint good e-nuff......

yep finally said e-nuff is e-nuff with lugging mucho crap out shooting spoons. looked high and low and all points in between and finally decided on ruggedgear.com's 4-spoon kart(cart) for going ge-schutzen.

i have crammed everything possibly needed for a service rifle match, come rain sleet snow dust wind hail. fully self contained, front steering swivels or locks into place. 32# empty and folds down flat. take wheels off in 2 seconds and its obviously flatter.

it is designed for 4-rifles standing up. i opted to not put the rifle holders on as i will never be carrying around an uncased rifle. rifle goes from safe to case to car to cart to firing line and then its reversed on my way back home.

too damn simple. $364 bucks with free shipping. too damn cheap. holds my creedmoor chair /creedmoor shooting jacket/spotting scope/tripod for scope/all tools/munchies/water/ammo/ has net bag for empty brass/shooting mat rolled up. even has its very own raincoat that covers entire thang. so even if it rains 2 days in a row like a couple of weekends ago, btwn a usgi poncho and the carts lil sears poncho, everythang will stay dry.

takes me all of maybe 10 minutes from grabbing spoon, stuffing in case, and grabbing gear and i am out da door to the range.

with proper arranging i am sure i can get (4) cased rifles standing up in it.

very roomy, great brakes, impressive steering, great mileage, excellent cargo capacity.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1299550338.jpg

Obligatory ''Nice Stroller'' comment.

Nice stroller.

sc_rufctr 03-08-2011 03:20 AM

So it's a golf bag trolley for rifles... Cool. Why didn't I think of that? ;)

masraum 03-08-2011 03:53 AM

There for a second I was thinking, "Holy carp! How many hand spoons does he take when he goes shootin'?"

ODDJOB UNO 03-08-2011 04:05 AM

actually NOT a stroller. completely eng/designed for spoons. this damn thing folds flat w/out wheels to about a 8" tall off the ground. as mentioned #32 pounds. holds #100 plus pounds. THATS ALOT OF SPOONS AND CRAP!

and as we ALL KNOW................the more CRAP ya have the better of a shooter you are?

this early am i kind of reshuffled "crap" and threw my shooting coat and optics in a medium duffle bag, moved some stuff and there would be no problem stacking straight up (4) rifles in drag bags or cases in it.

also put its lil sears poncho on and it completely covers the entire kart(cart) for 100% rain proofing.

heres how i look at it. spend all night getting ready for range or match or just plinking. and of course lifey/wifey duties preclude an early start in the morning. get to range late. its packed full of spoon nutz. ya get the very last table at either far end. normally this would include (1) rifle in case and a ammo box and a VERY VERY LOOOOOOONG WALK from vehicle to bench.

now............................TONS OF INSANE OVER THE TOP GOOFY GADGETS and MORE SPOONS can be easily transported to and fro vehicle to shooting bench/fiiring line.

when done, i SA-SHAY my sorry azz , with my kart(cart) back to my truck, throw spoon bags in,duffle bag in bed, fold cart(kart), pick up cart(kart) and throw it in bed and off i go back to the ranch.

worth every penny to me. talk about a headache solver.

If they make them in Pink Cammo my daughter would go nuts and insist I get her one.

ODDJOB UNO 03-08-2011 05:14 AM

i pushed them on camo. they said they have been asked about it, but as of now, they dont have enough camo orders to warrant them.

since all my crap over the years has been woodland camo surplus, i went off on the ACU(army combat uniform) coloration, as it works for the dezert(desert) as well as the forest. but the real reason i went this way was so i can IDENTIFY at a glance, what crap goes to range and what crap doesnt.

simple is a good THANG!

and in the event of inclement weather and soviet HIND -24 helos attacking i can cover the entire cart(kart) with my ACU poncho that has NFIR technology that does not emit an INFRA-RED signature, so i will be IN-WHIZZ-ABLE(invisible) to anything and everything looking for me during super secret squirrel covert ninja ops!

Weasel, you make reading fun........."super secret squirrel covert ninja ops".....I LOVE IT, still laughing

i'll be laughing even HARDER when the ruggedgear.com 6-pak holder comes out of the bottom of that damn cart with some cold coors lights on a nice hot summer here after blasting away at the range.

it even has a net style empty brass bag. a towel (just lak goofy golfers) have on their golf carts.

if ya think this cart(kart) looks goofy...................just go to a SASS match(single action shooters society ) winter range meet and you will be blown away by the carts(karts) these guys come up with. buckboards/stagecoaches/ you name it to hold all of their spoons.

KarlCarrera 03-08-2011 08:03 AM

Actually the "cart" looks pretty cool. Beats the h*ll out of how I look when I go. Several individual small spoon cases, a couple of larger ones and then the "heavy" case.

I like it!

now another idea we had(induced by coors light)...................was cram all of our FISHING CRAP onto this and roam along a creek/river/lake.

stash mega beers/bait/ poles/tackle boxes and bullets and no more humping crap for miles.

Tobra 03-08-2011 08:13 AM

My wife's friend has a stroller just like that.

ODDJOB UNO 03-08-2011 08:19 AM

just think how much beer i can carry with that thing, along with your wifes friend, and all my camera gear. LOL!

Tobra 03-08-2011 08:24 AM

On smooth pavement, you can run with that thing, in case you are in a hurry to get your beer to the firing line.

and then there will be spoon cart(kart) traffic jams, spoon cart(kart) hit and runs, spoon cart(kart) DUI's, grand theft spoon kart(cart), speeding spoon carts(karts), drag racing spoon carts(karts), reckless driving spoon karts(carts) and ...............SPOON KART(CART) TRAFFIC COPS!

and quite POSSIBLY...................spoon cart(kart) TRAFFIC CAMERAS!
