STUPID Spammers
 

I get this type of e-mail on my business account all of the time. I can actually see something like this working. But the "formula" is always the same.

You're e-mailing me, and my e-mail address domain is the same as my website.

My Name is part of my e-mail address. Call me by my first name, or phone me, since the phone number is also on the website. What business is going to fall for this?

the most amazing part is not that the crooks are that stupid. The most amazing part is that the people that they are trying to scam are either more stupid or so extremely greedy that they get bit.

10-15% more effort and someone could actually fall for this.

How about this:

Dear Mr. Red,

I would like to order some of your Pelicans,we are located in Solomon Island, can you send me your catalog so that i can send you the list of Pelicans needed and also will like to know the type of credit card you accept for payment..and also i will like to let you know i have a personal shipping agent that i worked with for years. I worked with them alone due to problem bringing down orders to this location.please advise so that i can proceed by going ahead to place the order as soon as your catalog is confirmed. I look forward to reading from you soon.
