As a drummer, this is a huge loss. Joe was inspirational to many drummers.

Thank you for posting this!
This gave me a much-needed kick in the kabutz to go out to the local jazz clubs again. Joe was in Seattle in 2006 as part of Marian McPartland's trio at Jazz Alley. They were wonderful! |
