IE 9 - Not too shabby
It runs significantly faster than IE8 on my Tablet. It seems really snappy on my Desktop. I like it, so far.
|
thx
but how often is the speed a browser, not a server or connection issue? |
running it as well....out of curiousity...
but w/o plug ins and extensions.....meh... adblocker makes the internet experience so much better |
I'm running it right now, so far, so good...

I put it in for a couple of days on my desktop Vista home premium with 3.2 processor and uninstalled the upgrade.
Now I find out the reason for my crashes was the Adobe Reader 10.2. It has faults and causes the stoppage and crashes. Fix will come next week. Once Adobe is fixed I'll try again. John |
Hmmmm. Not having problems but I use a full version of Adobe Acrobat 9.
|
ok, I'll try it (when I get around to it). My bet is that FireFox one ups them before then, tho...

Alas, IE 9 is not compatible with XP and a recent article on IE 9 indicated that 55% of Windows users are still on XP. I will upgrade to Windows 7 (and suspect most other XP users will also upgrade) when the current PC dies and it is time to get a new PC.
