Any decent online stores for Pet meds?

We got some heart worm and front line prescriptions for our dogs. Can you guys recommend any reputable online places to buy pet meds? Our vet is expensive enough as it is...

Thanks!

A buddy recommended these folks. We've used them once or twice.

Our vet will price match, once they realize you have other sources. Price around, and then ask your vet. We have used 1800petmeds a few times, but now get them locally.

After becoming aware of the growing counterfeit drug problem, I can't say I'd buy anything from an on-line source. Even for a pet...

Unfortunately counterfeit drugs are everywhere- including the vets, and MD's as well.
Sometimes they know, sometimes they may not.
I think, at least in my limited experience, that the large name brand mail orders are as safe as your local sources- but I would not use an unknown mailorder house for anything.

I use petcarerx.com.

For several years I used an outfit in Australia (petshed.com) - lowest price around, quick delivery and were not counterfeit. However, after 2 years in a row of having airline tickets from Sydney to China charged to my MC (timing always coincided with the Chinese New Year) I opted to quit using them....

Costco has frontline... quite a bit cheaper than petco, but I don't know how they compare to the other places.

I signed up with petmeds once. If you give them your email address expect emails at least one a day or more. The prices weren't that good. Your vet has to tell them your animal has been tested etc before they will send you some of the meds. Not worth it in my book. Establish a business relationship with your local vet.
