contractors, stucco question, anyone?

How does one get the rain stain out of stucco. I just finish a remodel. We sandblasted and top coat the entire house. The rain washing off the old Spanish tile just stain the surface of our new stucco near the tile roof. She's pissed. I can't seem to get the damn dirt or stain off. I rented a pressure washer and no go. Anyone? I feel really bad.

I wonder why it's doing it now vs before?

Sounds like the rain is leaching something out if the roof tiles. I'm not sure if bleach or something like CLR would work.

I'm sure it was doing it before, but it was so dirty (house is in a wooded area) you never notice it. I tried CLR or a few off the shelf concrete type cleaning products before I rented the pressure washer.

Look171,

I am not so sure you can get it out. If you used real stucco it is a cement/sand based product so it would be porous. The stain is in the stucco not unlike spilling stain on a driveway it's in to stay. The tiles if real Spanish tiles are made of red clay will not be effected by cleaners such as house washes, bleach, CLR, etc.

I hate to say it but I think it's there to stay.

Easy! We just did it all this week at my house. Paint the thing!

Get fog coat from the stucco company that manufactured the color coat. After the fog coat dries, use a clear sealer where the rain washes on the surface to prevent future stains.

Then throw your stupid customer in the river.

I hate stupid people.
