What a Great Trip
20 hrs of driving to get to Washington State (Richland) from Colorado Springs, to visit one of the daughters. What a great trip.
Nope, not the Porsche, the wife's Chevy. What the heck, almost 30mpg and didn't burn a bit of oil, almost 1200 miles. Always a dream to retire and do a little traveling, this was excellent. With the exception of southern Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington are beautiful! Weather was actually pretty good, considering the time of year and potential for foul weather. You folks have RIVERS up here, we have streams...:>)...your vineyards are friendly and plentiful....:>)....I had to be the DD The Salmon is VERY reasonable and the daughter seems to have mastered several of the local recipes, absolutely delicious! The Canadian Club (1.75) is expensive $37. Co. $20 Spent 6 days enjoying your State, and although we've been here (Spokane, Pullman, Auburn, Seattle) three times before, this was the most relaxed and fun trip. Heading back to Colorado tomorrow, but it has been a kick! ![]() See ya when I get back to Colorado Springs Another 20 hrs................. ![]() Karl 88 Targa |

no reason to buy Canda's Club -- we make our own whiskeys & etc. here in micro-distilleries?
