Proud Mummy (me) can't help herself... have to tell the world that Billy's tennis team is playing in the regional tennis preliminary finals this morning
.Good luck to the kids - they've played a great season of tennis and win or lose today we're very proud of them and their team spirit!!! The tennis season is coming to an end and football training has already started ...love my kid for being so involved in sports...

Congrats Lisa!
As far as one season sport rolling into the other - you know why that is so, don't you? So that the parents have something to do all year 'round - LOL! angela

Oh yeah don't I know it Angela
![]() When we had all three doing a variety of things and two of us running them around it was a challenge...like organising a small military operation every weekend... I hope he plays well; that they all play well. He has a MASSIVE serve...but sometimes it's a bit like an unguided missile as Mike puts it

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!! They won by 11 games! Both teams played really well; smiles on all the faces whether winners or losers...
![]() So happy - can't wait to have to get up at sparrowfart again next Saturday morning and get a numb bum from sitting on cold benches (it was really cold this morning - brass monkey weather )

1. Next Saturday is Grand Final day
2. 6 sets of doubles of first to 4 games each are played (they play to advantage as well). Playing section 7 at the moment (kids in our team are all about 11 - 12yo); will move up at least a section I think next year. Section 4 up to pennant play singles and doubles... 3. 5 on the team; for home and away matches we rostered 4 on and gave 1 a bye each week; but today all 5 played doubles in a rotation system. Will do the same next week for GF. Playing the top team on the ladder next week...'we' have beaten them before but they are a very strong team...good character building for our kids! There was only a few points between the two teams on percentage at the end of the season. |
