It's a whatsit ! Take a guess...

I'm always amazed at how quick people here solve these 'pop quizzes'...

If you win... Find someone near by to give you a pat on the back !!

Do you know what THIS is....

That'd have to be one MONSTER carb..... It's about 2.5" long... (sorry no measure)

1st hint: It's out of a '70 911...

as a side note (since you guys are SO brilliant) I had the mechanism (for lack of a better word) apart to clean it up a bit... I know these are notoriously erroneous, or at least give bad/false readings... I noticed on the 'resistor' part that has the wire tightly wrapped around the pc-type board that a hair-line wire was either broken or at least not attached to the board or other wire... I couldn't actually see another part that the wire had broken away from... is there a detailed write-up of this part somewhere ?? Shop Manual, Up-Fixin', or PET or somewhere ???

Amazingly, NONE !!!
