Ouch!
Ouch, that's a bad day :(
Uh oh, better get Maaco.
Good thing they got the clear bra.
Just a little curb rash. Ouch.
Wonder where in Texas this happened? Anyone know? |
Thank God he hit the break-a-way curb, or it would really have been hurt...
That's what you get for ordering your GT3 RS in the gayest of colors. That color combo is atrocious. The Porsche Gods got their revenge.
You can give it to me in the condition it is! I will fix it..........
strip it for parts
I'd like to put the motor in my Vanagon... |
maybe a lil "driving school" class is in order.
Well at least the car is fully broken in now.

Any estimates??? |
Wow, that REALLY sucks.
Okay,no one said it yet so I will.
That will buff right out. |
I drove an '11 GT3RS while waiting for my car at the dealer and it didn't feel like you could crash it.
When I first got in I thought, 'my insurance agent will kill me if I wreck this' and then I thought what the heck you live once and hammered it! |

Damn, I hope the curb did not smack the motor, or the transmission...sucks enough as it is. 'A little hot' around that turn...it is not, as much as it may feel like it, on rails.
Lesson learned for the day: Being stupid hurts.

^^^ Honestly, around here I would need that to get in to about 80% of driveways....
Aw.......geeeeez, did Gary Bussey get his license back?
The driver was just trying to take care of the remaining 50% of the value that the depreciation of driving it off the lot didn't get.
I love the color scheme BTW... Way too many boring grey/silver cars out there, red and white are played out and black always looks filthy. Nice to see some originality. The driving skills OTOH? Not so much. |
I'm guessing the drivers seat will need to be "re-done".

Sweet car- and repairable no doubt. Glad I never wrecked a car...oh wait..
Problem with the GT3s are they are so good that when they inevetibly lose traction, you are going to be in a world of hurt. The dealer here actually discourages folks from buying these to use for drivers education as you can get in way over your head very quickly and when they crash, it is always a very bad crash. In the right hands, they are incredible. In the hands of mere mortals, they can be very dangerous. The guy was lucky it wasn't worse! |
I'm thinking the driver is the poster?
Obviously it was a manufacturing defect, or the dealership was negligent in putting an obviously unqualified driver in such a powerful automobile. Either way, Porsche should be sued into oblivion.
That looks like it might be around Kingwood, those must be some mighty stout wheels.
I sure hope the driver gets cited for reckless driving. WAY to fast for street driving.
Man if they went to all that trouble to put in "Front Axle Lifting System", why would they only make it an inch and a half?
Maybe a careless owner would forget and get out on the autobahn with it in the 'up' position and get airborne or something . . . . |
the driver must have had a flashback about him squeezing that lion's balls

That's a bad day.
Also, I like the blue paint. The red graphics aren't my cup of tea, I would have gone with white to go with the blue. |
