Time to Reboot Batman... Again.
Apparently Hollywood has nothing original anymore. I've been saying it for years, but they've totally confirmed it now.
Movie bosses behind the Batman franchise have confirmed the Caped Crusader will return in a reboot following Christopher Nolan's upcoming third film - sparking rumours they are already hunting for an actor to take over from Christian Bale. CANOE -- JAM! Movies: Another 'Batman' on the way |
And then we need another Robin Hood movie.
Somebody kill me or come up with an original script... |

I had one, people thought it was too violent/dark. Maybe I should re-work it?

I think a non animated movie about the Drabbles (comic strip) would be hilarious. And it would not be titled "Mall Cop." ;)
Who would be best cast as Ralph? Well, all my choices are dead. John Belushi would have been perfect had he lived to be 50 or so. Who would be Norman? Well, there are so many dunderheads that I'd hate to have the job of casting director. The wife? Easy. Meryl Streep fattend up. |
Ah.... and the Total Recall remake... will be staring Colin Farrell. Funny I thought his acting career died years ago.
They should have Arnold Schwarzenegger star in that remake :) |
Somebody should remake Faster Pussycat Kill Kill
|
The Batman franchise died when Heath Ledger ruined the last one. It all started when Jack Nicholson played himself. Now every Batman sequel has become a contest to see who can portray the villian as the biggest freak.
I didn't need to see the Joker in a nurse's outfit blowing up a hospital. |

Or another post Apocalypse movie where everything is dark and evil except our one lone hero good guy that saves the day and destroys the evil overload and his army all by himself because he has extra good fighting abilities and no bullets can hit him. |
Oh cut the Hollywood crowd some slack - it's tough out there pulling down those meager $200k-a-year paychecks - it'll barely cover a kilo of coke a month on top of their two BMW X5 lease payments, McMansion mortgage and wardrobe costs...
I'm sure it's tough for those poor overworked writers to find the time to come up with really new and innovative material between self-congratulatory awards ceremonies parties every other day too. We should be more sensitive to their plight... It's no wonder they have to resort to recycling old, played-out material. |
I blame the unions.

Before....there was:
Payback.....Point Blank Lion King....Kimba the white lion Clash of the Titans...Clash of the Titans and the list goes on. I'd like to see more Frank Miller with real FM style on screen, Ronin or Electric. or Kon Tiki. What about lightweight stuff too: The Red Ballon, Pipi Longstocking, Nancy Drew, etc? Adam Sandler flashing his butt and orally raping the elderly isn't PG-13. There needs to be real original children's stories about the wonderment of life without some hidden political adgeda or people getting 'blowed up. |
I blame the unicorns...

Looks to be third in series with the "New" version with Bale.
DC will keep stamping them out until people stop going to see them. |
