What is this called? (screw driven electric motor of some sort)

This electric motor is used to raise and lower a 36" Gannon scraper box on an old Craftsman lawn tractor.

I need to replace it but I don't know what it is called or who would stock it. The motor still works great but the screw mechanism is stripped inside and will not stay "on track."

There are no numbers or words printed anywhere on the motor or on the body of the thing.

Any ideas?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1301612324.jpg

Yep - watch some old episodes of Monster Garage - they use about 10 of them on every project.

Try Graingers, they should have it.

A lot of the old, ginormous satellite dishes had them too. There's usually one of those rusting away in the 'hood somewhere.

Check out marine suppliers, probably more money but might handle the environment better.
