Firefox 4 rocks
I've been using 4.0 for a little while now and it definitely seems to be an improvement in resource management and speed over the previous 3.6 versions.
Not only that, but the vertical space is maximized by putting the menus in one drop down in the title bar of the window. I'm diggin' 4.0. That's all of the menus and everything. I do have tabs over on the right hand side of the window. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1301711071.jpg |
Heh, I think it's rocky.... I've had issues of it stalling, using more resources at times than the last version of 3. When it's fast, it's fast.

It's really good
I agree that it seems to meto be faster.
It's better than previous versions but it still does not hold a candle to Chrome IMO.
using it as well on my mac and my pc - I like it so far. But I prefer to see the menus.
Mine seems to be a bit unstable right now -- freezes if I leave tabs open for an extended time with no input from me. But it looks great, and is really fast.

All FireFox 4 and IE9 give me are the "application is not responding" message almost constantly. Chrome is working well and I'll have to stick with that...

I find this interesting, and I don't know why. Same program, on different machines, and severa; different outcomes. .6 was buggy as heel on this machine, and often had to close sessions, and re open them to get a page to load. FF4 just flies on this machine now.

How can you get the bookmark drop down button on the left?
Never mind, I just enabled the menu bar and turned off the Bookmark toolbar.
How is it running for the mac guys? I've been holding out on updating my pro....
