Is there a "dislike" thingy to click on too???

I kinda think I dislike the "like" linky thingy that's in all our posts now (after the maintenance session of today/tonight)
Reeks of Facebook if you ask me.

I don't really see any use for it. Maybe if I found out that it could be awesomely useful, I might dislike it less....

wdfifteen 04-04-2011 06:42 AM

I just clicked on the "like" button and a banner came up telling me I like your post. Duh. I just told it I liked your post, and now it's telling me? Why? An "unlike" button toggled on when I clicked "like" so I "unliked" you. Sorry.

turbo6bar 04-04-2011 06:56 AM

"Likes" is not proper. It's more like "pure ghey."

If you like a thread, subscribe to it.

masraum 04-04-2011 06:57 AM

weird

porsche4life 04-04-2011 07:12 AM

Totally wreaks of Facebook, and just like facebook, there will almost surely never be a "dislike"

Ghey..... Make it go away wayne!

Zeke 04-04-2011 07:20 AM

I've been on other forums with this feature. Also sometimes there's a box with how many times you've been read. It's just Internet stuff; more to ignore.

That doesn't really work like a charm either.... Subscribing sorta works automatically and very random too. (even unsubscribes all by its self... )

And guys, stop liking my thread, I get a notification everytime somebody clicks on it...

Is this a feature we can turn off?? Is there an ignore button for the like button? I would 'like' that....

Geronimo '74 04-04-2011 08:29 AM

Thanks, I won't like you either. :D

JJ 911SC 04-04-2011 08:31 AM

Just ask Wayne on his posting.

Look like for user use only and maybe they will be able to track those with a lot of "I like this"

P.S. 3 out of 14 as I type this...

UconnTim97 04-04-2011 08:33 AM

I foresee this being all kinds of fun on the picture threads and over in parf.

A930Rocket 04-04-2011 08:43 AM

I didn't even notice it until this post, but I keep hitting it for grins now...

pete3799 04-04-2011 09:22 AM

I'm like afraid to like click on it.

onlycafe 04-04-2011 09:35 AM

i never noticed that until now. when did this start?

Brando 04-04-2011 09:41 AM

I hate to break up the like-fest here... But this is just the direction of SM-integration.

Zeke 04-04-2011 09:42 AM

He heh, I had to "like" it to send a notification. ;)

It is trashy, huh?

RWebb 04-04-2011 12:02 PM

I hate liking stuff like this

I mean, like, REALLY!

scottmandue 04-04-2011 12:19 PM

RedBaron 04-04-2011 12:28 PM

Wish it away to the Cornfield, Wayne...

GH85Carrera 04-04-2011 03:47 PM

Yes please send it to the corn field.

emcon5 04-04-2011 04:20 PM

Geronimo '74 04-04-2011 11:17 PM

"Like" linky thingy is gone again??

:) Good, I prefer it this way. (If it isn't broken, don't fix it. (it wasn't broke IMO))

JJ 911SC 04-05-2011 01:02 AM

[QUOTE=Geronimo '74;5944247...If it isn't broken, don't fix it.... [/QUOTE]
