Anyone has t-mobile cell phone service?

I usually didn't pay attention to the bill but I did this time and see that t-mobile is charging me couple bucks under a section called Regulatory Programs Fee. It is explained that this is for gorvernment mandates and obligations.
Well, under that section, there is another section called Taxes, Fee and Surcharges. This section covers State High cost fund, Emergency telephone users surcharges..., Universal Life line, etc. These are the governements fees. Why there is another separate non-detail government fees?
Anyone here works for t-mobile?

Don't work for them however I have been a customer for seven year.

Six years of great customer service.

Last year merged my wife, SD, and I onto a family plan.

Don't know if it is because they (wife and daughter) got smart phones (LG optimus)... but we have had a bunch of problems.

Also don't know if it is because they (T-Mobile) have been bought out by AT&T.

But yeah... so far this year... not very impressed.

Look back at some mail the T-Mobile sent out, about 6 months ago. They are getting charged something by the Fed, and they are simply passing it along. Which goes to show, corporations don't pay these taxes, they simply include them in the price of service/products.

I have a T mobil phone. A Nokia? I just bought the cheapest pre-paid on the shelf so I could stay in touch with Cindy during a road trip.

Now, I just buy a $100 card once a year to keep the number. We never use all the minutes that roll over.

I guess I gotta laugh at the TV ad "plans" that ask for $40 per month...

But then, I'm old...use a cell phone like a phone. Don't text, tweet, or whatever else folks do.

I spent couple minutes to call them and ask. The girl explained that it is regulatory and is obligated such as emergency fee and such. Wait a minute, emergency is listed in the below the tax and fee section.
My point is if there is a tax and fees section; which is listed all kinds of fees, why there is another section said "other charges" which is also a "government fees" and is not listed clearly? If there is a kind of government fee which doesn't need to be listed clearly to customer, why not sum all the fees together without any description make it's $100 or $500 all together of fees? You see my point?

Would never go with ATT or Verizon because of 4th amendment issues(I'll stop there).

Sprint previously messed up the family plan, had some wild.....yes...um..."wild" is best term for their records and usage stats.
Overcharged my elderly family by hundreds per month.
We now pay big bucks for "high speed" connection, which is worse than the 14.4K modem I had twenty years ago.

Another local service wouldn't send me a damn written contract...by paper mail or by email.
"Verbal contract only", so they said.

Others were way, way too expensive.

Is this the 21'st century for communication???

John... so what provider are you using now?

Sprint has the best signal at my house but everyone I spoke to hates their customer service.

T-mobile has ok signal at my house... previous years customer service was stellar... however I fear what might happen now that they have been bought by AT&T.

I've been with T-Mobile for 7/8 years. Always thought they had good customer service and coverage as good or better than the others. My bill has changed a few pennies here and there over time, but I've not noticed any specific increases in the last year.

I have no intention of being an AT&T customer..............

Base on my personal eperience and people around, ATT is the worst with all of their products, from cell phone, home phone, and DSL include signal, customer service, messed up bills. Everything about ATT is bad. Sprint was bad before on their signal, not sure now. Versizon has been the best as far as I know, regarding signal. Price is a little high compare to most other companies. It's like german car vs japanese and american cars. T-Mobile signal is usually weak inside buildings around here. In IE, most of Verizon phones have better signal then my t-mobile and ATT phone. Regarding price, billing and cust service, I think t-mobile is far better then ATT. I hope it stays that way even after it becomes ATT.
It's sad that ATT is keep expading, buying out other companies.

The only difference between your T-Mobil plan and mine is my phone is a cheapie Samsung. Last year I rolled over so many minutes I only bought $25 worth of minutes this year... We dropped our land line a few months ago and use MagicJack for calling when here at the house... saves a considerable amount of money.

The wifes phone plan is a bit different however...

I just hope T-Mobil doesn't go the way of ATT if they deal goes through...
