The Playoffs are almost here

Things are looking up as far as quality goes, the playoffs are here real soon. How did your team do?
My Canucks are looking good, way better than this time last year, it might be the year we go all the way and bring the cup home.
Whats your prediction?

Canucks out by the second round. You read it here first. First round if they have to play Chicago.

Just hoping for the Canes to win the next two games and the Rangers slip up to sneak in for the 8th spot.

Just my honest opinion. I hope they win, I would love to see it. I just don't think they 'have what it takes'. Hope I am wrong.

Two years in a row, bounced on the last day? That will piss the Ranger fans off.

Breathe deeply and you can smell how my team did. Or maybe you can smell what they did.

Playoffs? What are playoffs?

...seriously I think it is a better situation now missing with a young, dare I say "up and coming" team with a future. :D

The Rangers may have given away the playoffs with the 3-0 loss to the Thrashers last night. Chicago has been coming on strong lately (killing the Wings right now) but they won't have enough in the tank to go too much farther.
My prediction: The Preds (if Webber gets healthy and Rinne keeps the numbers going) and the Bruins (if they don't go into one of their goofy goal droughts). Both have depth and strong goalies.

GothingNC 04-08-2011 06:30 PM

Canes beat the Thrashers 6-1, WooHoo:)

I believe Philly is as good as anyone in the East again.

Hawks are not what they were last year. They are good, but not good enough. I don;t think Toews can carry the whole team. If Sharp is not back at 100% they are done by round 2.

I say Detroit, Ducks, and Sharks are the best in the West now. Preds can't step it up a notch, the top teams can.

I spoke too soon. They aren't even going to make the playoffs.

They need Dallas to lose to make it.

I believe that if Pronger and Betts come back healty, and the Flyers make it to the Finals, that my azz will end up on Broad Steet for a parade.

And the champs back into the playoffs!
Van and Chicago should be a good series!
Dallas had a good previous 4 games to put themselves into position for eighth. Couldn't extend it to 5 wins.

What happens when the Leafs win the Stanley Cup?
