I just found some weed in a 930

I have been monkeying around all day trying to find a fuse holder in a 1986 930. I think I just found it, but while surfing around in the front trunk area, I found probably a half ounce of old rotten marijahaney. The owner is here helping me with the car, and he said that the guy he bought the car from was a bit of a wild child.
I am 100% positive that it does not belong to the current owner. It looks like it is 10 years old. Just imagine getting pulled over for speeding, and the cops finding this.
He asked me to get rid of it for him, I said sure, I will burn the evidence for you!
If my next couple of posts don't make any sense , then you know what happened.
Honestly though, I don't do that anymore.

Smoke a fattie for me Fred! ;)

It's really not funny. There was a kid here a year or so ago.

Bought a car from of all things a police auction. Gets pulled over and consents to search. They find a big bag of drugs behind the glovebox. Kid gets arrested. Was facing some serious time.

Fortunately they were able to determine the drugs were from the PO who coincidently enough was doing a stretch for dealing.

But the kid was put thru the ringer before it all got sorted.

How come I never find anything? :(

Well, I found a gram of coke in an empty house once, but nothing in cars but dead french fries.

My son found an empty bag that smelt odd in his '89 Mustang. the PO would be a better person if he smoked all of the time. He seemed to be coke'ed up

I wish it was a 930.

I like the wheels

I found a makeup kit sort of under the headlight of my 914

I don't go through a lot of cars so it does not come up much

craigster59 04-09-2011 03:38 PM

If it's 10 years old or more I think the law states you have to "clean" it on a "Frampton Comes Alive" double LP album and then roll all joints in a Frisbee. At least that's what I remember...

Where I live the BMW and Harley dealer had a common service shop.
The policy back then was for the customer to handover the service book with the keys. The manager said they had found too much "problematic" stuff to go looking under the seats unless esential to the service.

My cousin and her father were looking for a car for her at a used car lot, once. My uncle reached under the driver's seat to adjust it, and accidentally came out with a large plastic bag filled with white powder. They looked at each other, he quickly stuffed it back from where he found it, and they moved onto the next car.

I got a pickup truck from Enterprise one time. Went directly to the gas station to fill up and while waiting, I was snooping around the interior. Found a sandwhich bag filled with weed in the center console.

I looked around and immediately threw it in the trash can.

So much for cleaning out the car...

And this whole thread is why you never consent to a police search.

Embraer 04-09-2011 05:26 PM

i worked at Enterprise for a short while after college. We found weed ALL of the time in the cars. It was a weekly occurance to find it

Normy 04-09-2011 06:29 PM

It's all good and fun until you get caught~

I don't care for marijuana. I've smoked maybe 12 times, and the last few times I suddenly felt paranoid. I quit back in the 1980's.

That being said, I'm not against weed being used for medical purposes. Legitimate purposes- not like the places out around San Fran where it is basically a Cheech and Chong Rexall kind of thing!

-Folks, when I bought my current 928 in 1999...I had the previous owner drive the car to my driveway. As soon as the stonehead was gone...I stripped that car from stem to stern! I washed everything I could in the washing machine, and cleaned every nook and cranny. I figured I'd find a joint or two, but the car turned out to be clean; apparently he was a conscientious drug addict-

I was surprised. Since a man died in the front seat of my car, I figured that there would be something; there was nothing. Nothing in any pocket of the car whatsoever. Strange-

N!

"you put your weed in there..."

This is no joke, I almost got seriously busted in MA in a rental driving from CT to NH. I stopped to the side of the road, checking my map. I found a roach at the base of the seat - to my amazement there was still a little bit of bud wrapped in it. The next thing I know, 'No Eyes' was knocking on my passenger window, asking me if everything was ok. "Yes I'm fine officer, just checking the map"... he replies, "you can't stop here, you have to keep driving".. "Will do officer..."

pump, pump, pump... heart was beating in my throat! Anyway, saved it for that night in NH. :D

I found a loaded 38 revolver with 1 round fired under the back seat of a ford f-150 I bought. I Figured I better not keep it in case it was used in a crime of some kind. It was a taurus snub nose if anyone wanted to know.

that's GOT to hurt the resale value

DARISC 04-10-2011 08:01 PM

If the weed was in the 930 when your customer bought it, I'd say he got one smokin' deal!

LeeH 04-10-2011 08:02 PM

I worked in security when I was in the Navy. It was recommended to make an appointment with NIS (Naval Investigative Service) to have the drug dog inspect all newly purchased used cars. "It belonged to the previous owner" was not an acceptable excuse if the dogs alerted on your car during a random drug check.

I found a bag in my old Range Rover stuffed under the CD changer. I had driven around with it for months before I came across it. The previous owner let his high school age son drive it so I assume it belonged to him or one of his friends.

A friend of mine once bought a Suburban at auction and couldn't figure out why the 20+ gallon fuel tank would only hold 12 gallons. He took the tank out and found a compartment with cash in it, he never told anyone how much it was but he did say that the Suburban was free.

I used to work at a professional photo lab. Customers would come in and open the plastic film containers to dump out the film so we could figure out what type of film it was. More than a few times a customer would open a can and dump out some funny looking grass clippings or a bunch of talcum powder.

They always got the deer in the headlights look on their faces as they started to scrape it back into the can.

targa911S 04-11-2011 04:53 AM

what like they forgot where their weed was when the PO sold the car? damn hippies.

9dreizig 04-11-2011 05:01 AM

Too old it won't be any good throw it out

Except in CA where the state regulation requires the Europe `72 tour album.
