Atari on the iPad
Holy cow, I'm 14 again.
99 arcade and console games available for the whopping price of $14.99. A lot, but for Lunar Landing, Asteroid, Battlezone, etc., it's worth it. Fantastic. Only took 4 days to get the 5x on Lunar Landing... |

Love my pad!!!
Figured out how to watch in market (blacked-out) games on MLB. Com on the pad while I lay in bed watching something else on OTA TV |
The iPad is where we should have started out for casual browsing/email, if technology had permitted. We've been using way too much computing power for what we do 98% of the time; and power computer users have been saddled with fluff they don't need (Windows) and rooting it down.
So, finally, we're nearing a place where the device is matching the user's needs. |

To view in market MLB on the iPad
Jailbreak ipad Install MLB 2011 At Bat. Have to buy the app and pay for the service as well. Install FakeLocation from Cydia and it changes your location to anywhere in the world you want it to be. For mobile phones, MLB must verify blackout rule location based on GPS location vs IP. On the PC, I bypass MLB's blackout rules using Foxy Proxy as an add-on to firefox which allows me to login from another ip address and then shut it down when the game starts so I can use my real IP and not lose speed by going thru a proxy server halfway around the world. When FSMW bought the rights to broadcast the Cards and one doesn't have pay TV - a baseball fan has to get creative. |
