Hey PC guys. How do I print a page with white lettering?

Hi Guys

I'm trying to print out a page with black background and white lettering.
I hit select all and highlighted all the lettering which showed up black in my printer preview but still prints out blank.

The page is from a website .
I'm using XP.
Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Bruce

highlighting the letter doesn't change the color of the letter. it only changes what's on the screen.

in printing->page setup, there is an option "print background"

Yes I saw and tried print background but still printed blank.
When I hit select all it changed the lettering from white to blue (on the screen anyways) but it printed blank too.

The text is black, there is some HTML or CSS that is telling your browser to display it white.

Your browser may not be able to pass the color info or your printer does not understand it.

Print screen button is to the right of F12. Hold down the shift key and press the print screen button. This takes a picture of whats on your screen. you can then paste that into paint or some other graphic program and print it from there.

Or....you could simply highlight the text on the webpage, copy it and paste it into word or some other word processing software and change its color to black, then print.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Guys

Highlighted it and copied and pasted to word. Then it printed. not exactly as the website but the important info is what I needed and not the exact look of the site so, success.

thanks to all.

Get white ink. It's special, usually can be found next to the aluminum magnets.

I had a printer that used white ink.

Dye sub that printed on substrates other than paper.

If you were printing on foil or a clear media you needed white under the other colors to keep them vibrant.
