I'm sad today.
My pal and shooting buddy Charlie passed away yesterday after a long fight. Gun shows will not be the same without him. Rest in peace buddy.

Thanks everyone. Charlie was my first friend in PA and we did something gun/shooting related almost every weekend together. He was in the hospital for 160+ days but I always thought he would recover and we could hit the road together again. Sadly it was not to be. I will miss him horribly. Yes Paul, he was a fine man, a man's man you might say. He was 15 years older than me, but had hunted Africa a few times and was always up for some hyjinx/adventure. We were like brothers. Thanks to all of you for being here for me.

So sorry to hear...I've lost a few musician friends recently...Friday the wife & I went out for a drive and stopped in at Leadbelly's grave (at a very nondescript graveyard in the middle of nowhere) to reflect for a while. Mourn the loss but celebrate the life.
