Why does it have a "Learners" Plaque on it, did he just get his license?

Because it's actually his father's car... Bonnie Prince Charlie....

I know I'm not going to get this 100% correct, but I believe that's Prince Charles' car that he received for his 21st birthday. I also think there's a famous photo of Camilla leaning against it when she was dating Charles in their younger years.

Modern tradition... the bride (or couple) gets branded with the L until after the wedding.

Gorgeous car. I got married in England in the same venue and by the same woman as Charles and Camilla. I really really wanted to use an Aston to drive away from the venue but it was simply not far enough away from where we held the reception to justify it.

There are an unbelievable number of hoops you have to jump through for an American to get married in England. I nearly got deported two days before my wedding because they thought I was going to try and stay and sponge of their system.

The car had "Volante" on the back. Very nice car indeed. And the bride is a hottie too!

All the Aston Martin convertibles are called Volante.
