"Looping." Or, that's what I would call it. Really fun! Takes a lot of skill to make it sound good, though.

I saw Feist way back in 2006 in Quebec City. She puts on a good show. I also saw her perform some songs with Broken Social Scene that same day.

I think double tracking is more of a in-studio recording term whereas looping is more of a live performance term.

BTW, guitar pedals that do the same thing are called loopers or loop pedals (which is practically what those artists are using on stage)

Cute she is. I love watching her hammering the big azz guitar in the videos of her Trabendo session.

They say this video of her was shot in with one camera in one take - no cuts or edits. Some of you guys here probably can tell whether that is true or not.
