CU sues toilet paper mfr. for $40K

for "defective toilet paper."

CU sues over 'defective' toilet paper that flooded Boulder campus stalls - Boulder Daily Camera

The university alleges that the toilet paper did not 'disperse properly' and break up in the sewer lines.

This immediately made me wonder about that idea about how "low-flow" 1gpf toilets don't provide enough water to get all the waste material through those old sewer lines designed for old school 3+gpf toilets. Surely the uber-green University of Colorado has installed low-flow toilets, right?

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Maybe somewhere on campus, but the one in the pic is a standard issue commercial Flushometer using 1.6 and a high velocity. The problem may very well have been the lines. I think a reason to go to court is to involve insurance for a settlement.
They will probably all walk away friends.

That's why it's important to do a before, during and after flush...

It all depends on the dimensions of the load.

I just got a new toilet from Home Debit. I got a Standard Cadet with a 1000g flush, now 1000g is 1 kg so that's 2.2 lbs.

Now I'm all worried because after a night of drinking with my best bud we often pig out before bed. In the AM, after I've percolated a few cups of coffee, I often do a 15lbs swirly that stands up like a Dairy Queen ice creme cone.
I don't know if my new toilet can handle that much poop.

So can I sue American Standard if I totally plug my new crapper?

Sure, but you'll probably lose.

What you describe sounds like anything butt a standard American crap.

Note to milt; the above is an attempt at humor (oh I know, I shoulda used green text).
