Drawing programs?
Anyone uses a simple off the shelve architect drawing programs. I like to keep the price under 150-200 bucks.
My needs are: Ease of use draw simple floor plans and pop it up and have elevation done view from all direction / fly through I like to be able to print at my local Kinkos or something similar places. What's a simple software they may hav? I really don't need to print fulll size drawings. Something larger then 8 1/2 x 11 for the workmen. I am tire of sketching crap on graph paper. Something simple to get permits at the city, at the same time, show clients what things may look like. Please do not suggest Auto CAD. I have done it in college. I had enough. Anything more then simple drawings, I get my architect. Its cheaper, easier, and a heck of a lot less stress. Thanks Jeff |

What he said.
Couple it with Sketchup Layout and you should be good to go. |
+1
Sketchup is awesome for this. It's the de facto standard in a lot of offices (including mine) for doing quick programming study type layouts. Very useful to know and the results are presentable. |
I try all night last night and can't seem to get the damn thing to load. May be because I am dumb and fighting this new Mac that I am trying to learn. Any tips?
