Did a thread just disappear?

Yes the faldero thread did accidentally disappear, My bad I went in to edit a spelling, and it just went away. I do hope that the Mods can bring it back up.

Isn't that stuff supposed to blocked in Saoudi Arabia?? Censorship and stuff like that... They are very strict over there.

I just got a PM back from Z-man saying that once a thread is deleted it is gone. I could see that the posters to that thread put real thought into their responses.
I must be one of the few that saw only Faldero"s edited version of the OP, so I do appreciate the clarification about the content.
The deletion was my mistake, and I apologize.

I said in your thread that I asked the mods to remove my poll about Faldero being a snipe alias.
I tought that my poll would be contributing to a type of atmosphere that is unpelican.
(which was also your concern, if I'm not mistaken, the atmosphere being kinda off, lately)

Thanks Geronimo, for your efforts to help bring us back on track here on OT.
That lack of civility is my point exactly. That and the habit of continuing old disputes in thread after thread.
I for one really enjoy the international aspect of our membership. And want remind others that many posters from around the world are posting in what may be their second or third language when posting in english. I thank you for your efforts guys.

In all there is a lot of interesting and very funny stuff going down here. So I will again take my usual seat in the back of the room, and enjoy.

Civility is what makes this board attractive to me. I travel a lot and trying and meet new friends and old friends on from the board. I hope to meet some new friends next week in Portland, OR.
