how do you post a PM on a thread
 

I would like to post a PM I got on a thread but can't seem to move it
Anyone know how ?.

Cut and paste, then select the text you just pasted and hit the quote button.

You want to post the contents of the PM in a thread?

Cut and paste. I don't think that you can actually "forward" a PM anywhere.

You can forward PMs, but not to a thread.

If you're worried that cutting and pasting might negate the "veracity" of a PM, you can also consider taking a screen shot and posting it. Still not 100% perfect, but gives some credibility if you're trying to prove a point...

Keep in mind that PM's are supposed to be Private Messages.

seems I remember mods have come down on people for posting PM's (unless okay with author)
