My first car was a 1966 Mustang in reference to that other thread.

The problem with owning a boat, hovercraft, light aircraft, motorcycle or other summer toy is that it competes for time with the Porsche. However, my hovercraft is rear engined and air-cooled so it goes with the theme.

Yea, I've been experimenting with a Bag & Drape system for years - 6 skirts.

Hovercraft - Experimental Skirt Project - Boat Design Forums

Your last photos looks like you added an inch or two to the skirt length. I've seen that done before, more cushion height, but less stabile, and the skirt tips tend to knuckle under.

well actually on that scat II that you see at the lack i put in a rotax503 instead of the 277.....i added extra floatation to it, you know the swimming noodles i added some of those check out my videos on my maiden voyage first time takin it out to the lake...... it was lil windy that day......the floatation on that thing is pretty good. but i am getn spray off the side i have to knotch out the skirt to fit around the swimmiing noodles that i have attached to the hull

YouTube - blklatino92570

the power of the 503 is getn me a good bubble to ride on thats why it looks like longer skirt check out the video and you will see

Here is my contribution. This is an Early Scat I found in New Jersey and restored. It was yellow when I found it and had a single cylinder Rotax 27 Hp on it. I upgraded it to a twin Cylinder water cooled Rotax snow mobile engine in the 90 hp range ( I have to look to see what engine i used now. been a few years ago )
