Okay, just want the opinion of the Pelican demographic. Facebook friends: forgive me, this is a repost. But it's a different group here.

Kopek is a rock band from Ireland, currently touring the states with Hinder. My wife and I have gotten to know them, they're very nice guys. The lead singer, Daniel, comes up to my armpit -- I'd be suprised if he's 5ft. But man can he sing live. Like Ronnie James Dio reincarnated as the Lucky Charms Leprechaun.

The girl in the video is 18 year old Amber Jean Rowan, a runway model also from Dublin Ireland, and a friend of the band. Both are big in Ireland, but relatively unknown here.

Anyway, tell me what you think of her.....

Looks pretty hot in the video.

What do I think of her? I think she is an 18 year old girl, which from my perspective is a child. I know she is writhing around, trying to be sexy, but that's not what 18 year olds should be doing. That's what I think.

Indeed an attractive/hot young woman. Like a freight train, I would hit that.

I wonder if the video is intentionally funny. In the first scene, we see that she is not proficient at walking in heels. Reminiscent of Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis in Some Like It Hot.

These are nice small-town kids trying to be cool. We were all young once, trying to be cool. It's a rite of passage, but we were never lucky or unlucky enough to be on youtube. :)

The singer looks like that kid from "The Middle". Apparently he's the same height as well...

She's hot, the song not so much. Good luck to them anyway.

I realize she's a runway model but 10-15 pounds wouldn't hurt her one bit.

"Cocaine Chest Pains" is great LIVE, but is missing something in the studio version, imho.

Anyway, this is about the GIRL, not the band, although it's always interesting to hear Pelicans taste in music. Mostly, it's predictable.

It's so hard to tell from just a video. We need to have drinks soon and you need to bring her along so I can tell for sure how she looks in person. And if you need to run after only one drink, I'll understand. I can take care of her for the rest of the evening. I could even drive her home. You wouldn't expect anything less from a friend and a gentleman.

Edit: I looked at the video and can tell right away that she'd look horrible in a BWM. She needs to be in an Audi. Preferrably a twin turbo V-8 fire breathing monster of an RS-6 that matches the power of her vocals.

I like the band. I bet they would be great to see.

She is a very pretty girl. Looks like many of the girls that attend HS around here though...
