Kill it with fire!

What an abomination... I can't believe it's up to $22k!

Porsche : 911 | eBay

I can't believe the production co. didn't just use a 996.

A930Rocket 05-20-2011 03:43 PM

Because they wanted a light weight car to go through the plate glass window and chase scene.

I should list the fuel hose for sale - some sucker will buy it for $1,000 or something...

One of the Most Famous & Recognized Film Cars In The World:rolleyes:

It's up to $27k now.
I'd pay $27k to own a movie star. Maybe not that one.

I suppose Jeff is making reference to the Ferrari crash in Malibu that cut the car in half and a hose from the crash came up for sale.

Too long ago to look it up.

That is indeed what he was referencing. That whole auction fiasco was hilarious!

I predict a non-paying bidder.

Horrible...

The only interesting thing is the steering wheel. Anybody know what it is?

“Tina’s” “1978” 911 body was stripped down, including the roof and with great expert craftsmanship a new “1999” 996 composite fiberglass body (to keep weight down) parts (were all original NOS Porsche parts made in Germany) was handcrafted onto “Tina’s” chassis. The side driver & passenger widows are able to be kicked out in case of an emergency.
How very strange.
