A general thanks to Pelican Parts, this community helped me through a rough 6 months. Yesterday morning I lost my best friend and partner to brain cancer. Bethie put up with my love a Porsches and cars in general. During her home hospice, this community gave me hours of enjoyment reading through the Off Topic section, doing general 911 research to figure out next steps for my 911 as well as keeping an eye on the market.

Condolences Jon! Glad that you found some enjoyment here with us over these difficult months. Stay in touch, maybe a road trip could do you some good in moving thru the next months. Go for a cruise, visit some other porsche lovers.

Sorry for your loss.

It's nice to know that this band of miscreants brought some joy to you without us even knowing it. Stop back by when you can, this miscreant would like to hear a few stories of the times you shared with Bethie. That smile tells me she knew how to enjoy life, and not just live it. I think stories like that do us all some good.

I'm so sorry you lost your friend. It must have been a difficult time. I'm glad PPOT was able to provide some relief. I can't imagine how hard this must be.

She will always be with you in your memories. You'll "see" her often in little everyday events or objects. Smile when that happens.
