possum, raccoon, skunk... fleas

possum, raccoon, skunk... fleas. I got them all. I am not sure if I have fleas in my house yet but I do feel like they are crawing on my skin. I afraid at fleas. At first, I saw skunk in my back yard at night, the black with white strips. I came close and was umm, nice looking skunk.
Several nights later I saw several raccoons climbing the trees up to the roof and playing there. I went up stair and came closed to them to chase them away, they didn't care much. They left after looking in my face for a while. umm, nice looking raccoon.
Another several nights later, I saw a freaking ugly thing with a bunch of kids on her back, the freaking possum. OMG, my hair stood up. I went a took a shovel to scary her away but it didn't work. I scrape the shovel on the concrete to make a nasty sounds, she didn't run. Instead, she look straight in my eyes and walked side by side, left-right right-left in slow motion like she is getting ready to kick my ass. This possum must know Kung Fu.
I think I heard, or read somewhere that they afraid at black pepper, so if you pour black pepper around the area, they won't come again. Anyone heard of this?

Buck shot is way more effective than black pepper.

First make sure there is not a food source eg. dog/cat. Easy excess to garbage. Keep the area clean. Other than that at night they will pass thur. Then of course there are traps and poison.

Sorry, I meant fleas not flees. Bad english.

Buck shot? You meant BB gun? That would make noise at mid night.

My house has nothing outside, no food definitely. There is not even that much trees. And we don't have pets yet, and trash cans are always closed.
The skunk comes in late at night and only take a walk around then walk out. I like it since it looks nice. I don't have any idea if it caries any fleas. The racoons love my patio roof, no idea why. They are up there often. Usually, they scratch on the wall acting like they want to make it through the wall to get in. I only see the possum once, and feel like they are there more often because I usually hear slight stepping sound around that area late at night.
I more afraid at the possum because I always heard that possum carries a lot of fleas.

Racoons like to use a roof as a toilet. You might want to check out your roof.

I am sure he meant buck shot. You shoot any of those animals you have listed with a BBgun, and all you will end up with is a ticked off animal.

Yeah, but they will still haul it out of there, and remember it in the future.Don't try to get to close though.
The raccoons, are probably trying to get in the roof.

When you get around to a pet, might I recommend a cat? A mean, half wild female cat.
