Is it too late to plant a garden?
We have had monsoons for the last two months, and I have been spending every free minute of my time on the 930, so I told her no garden this year. She did not like that idea. So , I just got around to breaking up the ground today, probably have to do it once more, and get stuff in the ground next weekend.
Is it even worth it at this point?

we are still putting stuff in the ground. Our garden is 1/4 acre and about 1/2 planted.
I say go for it. Speedy ![]()

Plant the most mature starters you can find and you will be ok.
Too late for seed IMO.

It depends on what you want to plant. It's too late for some things, but there are a lot of short season vegetables that will do OK in the heat of summer - beans and corn are popular ones. It's too late for lettuce, spinach, and peas though. Tomato plants will do fine. I just put mine in last week.

oh no, don't tell me all my trees will have trouble. I just did some baby fruit trees, avocado, orange, lemon, etc... and some red maples. And I plan on some palm trees, crapefruit, and more soon this month. Should I be ok or should I wait, until when?, for the palm trees?

Palm trees are a grass. Your fine around here. Most of those trees you planted won't produce this year anyway. Too much stress.

They are baby now. I am not expecting them to have any fruit this year. All I hope from them is to stay alife and grow bigger. They are not going to die because I plant them down in the wrong season, are they?

You are fine. My dad had a garden for the last 30yrs in Pgh. He would never plant before Memorial day weekend. Go for it.
