X-Post from Turbo Forum: DZ Swimsuit Thong Photoshoot With 935 Mag Wheel feat. My GF

Because the best things in life were meant to be used (935 wheel), shared (pics of GF) & enjoyed. SO here's a magnesium 935 wheel which we're in the process of reproducing, my girlfriend Allison in her thong & my D-Zug Produkte / Fünf Gruppen Pit Shirt.

In the spirit of the brotherhood of boost I give you some of the hottest pics involving a magnesium wheel & Fünf Gruppen crest.

She loves Porsches, has an affection for my 935 K3 tribute, is the lead model for D-Zug Produkte & is the sweetest girl known to man. Surf's, plays soccer & teaches sunday school - no joke...

Photos taken by me yesterday, location Huntington Beach, CA. Comments welcome

Not too sure why you would want a trash barrel in the background. Heck it's right behind your product in one shot. Also your contrast ratio is way to high for the web. You can not see any detail in anything

Hmm contrast looked good on all my comps & phone - and about the trash can, we didn't pshop these at all besides the filter effects. we're raw, natural & well, it was on a public beach and I never noticed the trash can until now!

Other than that hope you enjoyed them...and that's not our product, its a 32 year old magnesium race wheel aka unobtainium.

What wheel? What trash barrel?

Super hot GF. I like the watermark, and coordinated t-shirt, outfit, etc.

I don't think I care for the extreme angles though, and the long shadows don't flatter. You might try an external flash of some sort.

Well we did it on the fly, I used a point and shoot party camera...and i'm a new photog but in the end we didn't want anything too polished, just wouldn't be right. Did the whole thing in 20 min...she was a joy to work with - and she only wants to do the racy stuff with me. Guess I better invest in a nice camera huh?

But thanks for the tips guys!!! I'll do better next shoot I promise

I'd try to take as many complimentary shots of her as I can then. I took some of my ex outside at night at a school one night, that got me in trouble here, haha.

It's not the time of day, it's the lighting. For example, you can use darkness for dramatic effect, but you want to eliminate shadows to show detail, or use shadow to heighten interest.

I'm just an amateur photog myself. I prefer overhead lighting, so I use a bounce flash to bounce light off the ceiling. I have a point and shoot with a TTL flash (Through The Lens).

I'll PM you a link to a shot that I took in complete darkness. The only light came from the flash. The best way is to show you, rather than to describe it.

I'm going to Dubai when the Euro PGA has thier world championship in December.

Stay safe - if that's at all possible in Afghanistan! It's pretty quiet here right now, but it got nasty across the causeway in Bahrain about a month ago. They actually tore down the Pearl Statue in Manama as it was a gathering point for protesters. There are still tanks and armored vehicles at the round-a-bout that we pass on our way to the City Centre mall.

Late afternoon or evening, when the sun is low, will give a softer, more yellow light Like you have in your pics. I like that aspect of them and it really flatters your model. But you need some fill light because you are shooting that dark shirt and dark wheels. Your photos would be great if you used some fill flash or a reflector and paid more attention to the backgrounds. I don't mind the industrial look too much, but the trash can - gotta lose it. The buildings in the background can be gotten rid of fairly easily with photoshop.

BTW the best reflectors I ever used cost about $5. I was stuck in the middle of no where without my expensive, fancy fold-up, so I went to Lowes and bought a slab of that foam insulation with the silver paper on it. Cut it up into pieces and propped them up around the subject wherever I needed light.
