Good shop shoe reccomendation.

Man,my dogs are barkin'. I spend my life on my feet on a concrete floor. I usually wear some sort of decent quality hiking boot. They don't last very long With the chemicals they are in contact with, and so forth, I am buying a new pair about every 3 months or so. I don't like big steel toe work boots, it is hard to climb in and out of customer cars without leaving foot prints.
Any reccomendations on a good comfortable work type shoe, or boot that will last?

Doc Martin shoes. I used to wear them cooking. They have air soles that stand up to oily floors.

+1 for Doc's.

Harddrive beat me to it. I wear DMs almost daily. You can't beat the comfort and they last forever. I still have a pair or two from my college days.

Steel toes?

I like having support for my ankles, do not know if this matters to you.

Try New Balance or Nike for tennis shoes.

Red Wing and Chippawa and Ariat (those used to be made in Texas and Mexico, USED to be)

Try a "steel toes" made out of a lightweight material. You can find them in Red Wing, same protection MUCH less weight.

I am on my second set of Keen shoes. Very comfortable, stands up to the bad chemicals, and not too big and bulky getting in and out of cars all day long.
