How can I capture a live streaming video?
 
How can I capture a live streaming video on my laptop?

Short of video taping it, is there a software (free?) I can use to capture the live feed?

My son is in CA at a swim meet and I want to save it.

Will the firefox download helper do it? I use it to save youtube vids but dont know if it will capture live?

I found "Debut Video Capture Software" as well, that I might try.

Anything you can play with VLC you can transcode and save with it. I've used the download helper extension for firefox to save streaming audio as well.

Download Realplayer and you just click and save. Real easy.
