I am guessing it is to irritate Captain one-star, whoever he is.

You know, the simpering beatch who one-stars any thread for the users he doesn't like, regardless of content.

Frankly I think the star system is useless in the OT forums.

Those that post a Thread should get no vote....I've seen a "one star" given to a thread, the creator gives him/herself five stars and it averages out to a 3 star deal????? Who really cares anyhow?

I click on the threads I'm interested in, ignore about 80%, especially if "spoons" or "barn-find" are in the title. Both are way over used.
