A&P guys - what are these?
 
Found them in an old tool box of mine that had been owned by a few mechanics before me...

They look to be the ID plates for older aircraft.

Those are tags for tooling or other equipment (GFE) owned by the US government but used by Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa.

agreed! possibly for FOD control purposes too.

Dad's not sure exactly where they came from. Said they used to get thrown in his tool bag when he was working on stuff on the flight line. He thinks possibly from some C-47s back in the 70s.

There was a lot of aviation in the Tulsa area years ago. During WW2 they built bombers there along with other birds.
