Anyone play GT5 on the PS3? Interested in a RUF CTR/BTR online race? *WEDNESDAY*
 

Thinking of organising an online race for the RUF BTR and CTR..... would anyone be interested? Likely at the Nurburgring. Not sure when I'll do this as supposed to be moving house over the next couple of weeks and may not have much in the way of internet. Let me know if you are interested.

That'd be cool! Can we Include the Rgt? I'm nowhere near good enough to do a good lap in the btr/ctr. Well at lower pp i tuned the btr pretty good but it all depends on the pp limit.

I usually use the rgt for online races, do pretty good until I inevitably spin off the track then drive way to aggressively for the rest of the race lol...

How about all rufs, ctr/btr/ctr2/rgt/3400s

The reason I wanted to keep it to the BTR and CTR is because they are so hard to drive you never get to enjoy them online! Everyone else can pick virtually anything else and beat you. The RGT and the CTR2 are kind of just too good in comparison.

I notice the yellowbird is a ton more fun if you keep it to 500hp or so anyway, which I think the BTR can manage too. So yes, we should restrict the PP or restrict by horsepower.

I could do an hour one night this week, even this evening I think.....:rolleyes:

Yeah, I know what you mean. Ctr/Btr it is then.

Imo pp limit. It gives you the option of going for a lighter/less power or heavier/more power option instead of just having to get max hp to be competitive.

500pp is my vote

sounds like a reasonable limit. Might actually be able to keep the car pointing in the right direction for a few corners!

I race most nights at 10pm est. My psn name is LJC2001 and run the "Yellow Bird" allot. Fun car and will test your skills. Adding ballast, suspension tuning and hp will help handling. Cheap way to race vicariously.

I tried last night, they are tricky cars. Got to soften the back end a lot and add lots of toe in on the rear. Ballast helps too.

I'll have to turn on my PS3 when I get home from work and start the updates. That should only take about 2 hours.:eek:
