To the Guy Who Stole My Lawnmower......

..Bad enough in that when I arrived home yesterday after a grueling 11 hr work day where I only made 6 labor hrs, noticed more space where my lawnmower used to occupy under the outside porch.

Of course you didn't bother to steal my newly purchased shovel, spade, hoe and rake - I understand completely- THOSE require actual effing physical labor.

I could only hope you'd be dumb enough to try to pawn or sell it locally to someone for drugs or a video game (or two) - providing a short trail back so I can prosecute you to the full extent of the law, a felony by the way here.

I'm sure that you sold or traded it because while requiring much less labor to operate than the hand/digging tools, I would bet that your saggy-*ss pants below your waist and $300 sneakers would interfere with ANY form of actual work

In the last few years I had to work a job I don't like, an industry that I despise for net pay that is easily 35% less than I made prior to the recession. All that effort to pay for an over priced machine to cut the grass I hate to see grow.

If you wanted to steal something, why not the tall grass? H*ll I would have PAID you to do that!! - oh........but that's right.........back to the the whole "work thang"

F-you, you piece of *****, your family, the horse you rode in on and your 'momma' too.

First thing this evening (after work of course) I'm buying a much longer cord for my bad-*ss 65lb male Chow-Chow to extend his dog domination to the very edge of all sides of my property.

The only thing he enjoys more than eating, licking his balls and sleeping in the air conditioning is mauling the appendages off of any living creature he deems "fair game" per me. I can't wait

I hate f*&^%$# thieves and there should be a bounty on them.

THAT would be a usefull way for this sh(**& government to "stimulate" the economy.

Let the working man "harvest" thieves............ let's start with the thieves on the gubmint dole.

I hear you loud and clear. Speaking of clear, that is what my entire family, all branches and cousins, etc. did in Niagara Falls, NY. Clear out. Most sections of the city are overrun with crack-hoes, dealers, violent thugs, etc. When they kicked in my mother's back door, literally, that was it. Flee. The barbarians they speak of have arrived.

Sorry to hear about that. The city is building a new HUD house across the street from our house and there are several others being built in the immediate area, so I expect our crime rate to go up. I'm sure I'll feel your pain soon enough...

LOL I know exactly how you feel.
But I also think it would be entertaining to cross post this in PARF and see what kind of responses we'd get from a few folks over there. I can just see it now ......

When i lived in Ventura there was a guy who had his tools stolen from his garage/ shed a few times. He'd had enough and rigged a motion detector to a spotlight in his bedroom.

A couple nights later his bedroom lights up like Times Square and he goes out with a baseball bat and holds the guy till the cops come. Friggin' thieves.

I feel your pain!

The man that lives one house north of me on and off harbors this individual known as Sam. Sam is a laid-off former yacht captain who has a drug and alcohol problem. He's lived there on and off for two years, and in early January....I'm certain that he stole an old bicycle from me.

Michael [owns the house] and Sam are a couple. Sam is in trouble: He staged a break-in at his partners home, and was caught and arrested. Michael kept him around. Michael apparently kicked Sam out early this year- in January, I had an old bicycle, a cheap $55 Wal-Mart model that a visitor who spent a week at my house left behind. I left this cheap bicycle on the ally between my house and Michaels. Sam could easily look through the fence and see the bicycle there. Michael and Sam had a big falling out in early January [one of my other neighbors said that he showed up at his house in the middle of the night with his bags and wanted a place to sleep~], and a few days later when I got home from flying for my airline, I noticed that the bike was gone.

You will have a hard time convincing me that SAM did NOT take that bicycle. What's more, I walked out to my boat, which sits in the canal behind my house, and I found everything moved around. I suspect that Sam slept on my boat for a night, and then stole my bicycle.

-Michael took Sam back in! I noticed this, and one night when Michael returned from work [works as an accountant at a hospital], I made a point of talking to the two of them:

"I had a bicycle stolen from my side yard, you need to be carefull"

It was obvious from the way they acted that Sam stole the bike, and Michael was defensive of Sam.

"He was left for Spain before that happened", Michael said.

Really? I hadn't mentioned what date the bike went missing...

I went back in my garage, but stood near the door so that I could hear them. I heard Michael say "It sat in the front yard for a day; I thought it was junk so I put it in the garbage"

Hello?

I suspect that Sam stole my bicycle, slept in my boat for one or two nights, and eventually used the bike to go to a friend's house in Coral Springs, about 5 miles away.

That bike was beat-up, it was slow, and I was going to donate it to "Out Of The Closet", a thrift store that just opened up in Fort Lauderdale that supports a charity that does free HIV tests. It was worth $20~

[I've advocated this test to most of the people I fly with; Many have second families in Brazil~]

But I cannot, since Sam STOLE it. I have no proof, but the circumstances are obvious-

N!

Damn, that sucks. as a commercial landscape contractor for the last 22 years, I've had lots of good equipment stolen from my trucks, trailers & even the shop / office. The police are too busy to even respond. If you call to report it, you have to leave a message for a "volunteer" to call back to take a theft report. Once, when my foreman was assaulted during a theft attempt, then, the police were all over it. I didn't loose any equipment that day but gained a work comp injury claim.

Recently, on a Saturday afternoon, someone came into my open garage and took my Mt. bike, I was there going back and fourth from front to backyard doing yardwork!

Some broad lets her dog poop in my swale nearly every day; My neighbor told me who she is, I just need to be in front of my house at 0600 to see her. And then grab her by her long-assed hair and rub her nose in the poop!

[I'd probably get arrested for that. I wouldn't mind-]

I want to buy this 4 camera video system from Brandsmart.com. It has four cameras, infrared [it sees at night], and it costs $700. I'm going tomorrow spend $1000 on my 928 in an attempt to get my air conditioner to work, but if not for that expense I would buy this system and install it!

I am just dying for a chance to CATCH the ***** that is pooping on my swale! I'll never hit a woman, but I WILL rub her face in dog poop!

I had some loser steal the soft top off my jeep in January once.

I was too broke to get one till pay day.

For a week and a 1/2 I prayed I'd catch that loser. Ohh I prayed. I swore, and I prayed some more.

And I'm not even a religious man.

Normy, I had this. Someone had their dog poop in front of my gate every day so I did a stakeout. Along came a guy and his dog and he waited while it had a crap right in front of my step to the gate. I caught up with him 50 meters down the road and gave him the opportunity to come back and pick it up with his bare hands or I would drag him back up the road and rub his face in it. LOL, he opt'ed to come back and pick it up.

Yeah - not much the popo can do - unless they "see" it somewhere - believe it or not I actually had 2 pics of it last year I emailed to the cop.

My 'surance deductible (high) is about what it is worth - so that would be a wash anyway
