Things to do in Paris? Drive to German and enjoy!

Absolutely no way you can speed like that nowadays. There is just waaay too much traffic, even at 1am in the coldest January morning.
In fact, I don't think I've ever seen Les Champs Elysees with fairly clear traffic. And I must disagree with the few who jokingly suggested drive to Germany. Paris is tough to beat by any standard. |

It's definitely impossible to drive like that in Paris nowadays. I spent a few days there with a rental car last September and, honestly, I'd rather have been at work than on that "vacation." I've been to Paris a lot and just don't like it. Taking a car there makes it worse. Driving in the rest of France is relatively civilized, but driving in Paris blows. Driving in Germany is wonderful, total order and lawfulness. Love it.
