cant wait for the 4th of JULY.........NOT!
 

as many of you are aware the proud state of airy-zoney has been burning up. some of the most pristine areas of the state are now TOAST! today is slated for the HOTTEST day of the year. and with that...........comes fires.

now living in an unicorporated part of the county(maricopa) ALL FIREWORKS ARE BANNED! same with scottsdale and other areas. thru the infinite WIZ-DUMB down at the state capital, they have passed a law allowing fireworks sales and distribution. each city county is left to make their own laws. well you cant swing a dead kat w/out finding a fireworks tent selling fireworks.


now last year on the 4th i had the fun of my southern moron neighbor(clown i am not an attorney) try and light my (2) outbuildings on fire with embers from their lil fireworks fiesta. after watching this, i about poo'd myself and had (2) choices: 1) jump over the fence and beat the living tar snot of of them or(2) call the cops. i called the cops on the non emergency #, and the operator stated they are very busy on fireworks calls and it will be awhile. "ahhhh so i should probably call the fire dept now?" ."well sir are your out buildings on fire yet?" . well the clowns ran out of fireworks and split. and i never saw any cops show up. i was ready with my piss ant hoses and actually wet down the roofs of both buildings.


so the only reason i stay here on the 4th, and not split to some other cooler locale, is to try and avoid watching my property burn up. which will really PISS ME OFF TO NO END! and that is NOT gonna happen EVAR!


so this year, i have the documented law printed off specifically BANNING FIREWORKS IN UNINCORPORATED COUNTY ISLANDS, IN MY GRUBBY LIL HANDS so when the fireworks crap surely starts again, i can cram this document in the cops face, along with the RESTRAINING ORDER that is STILL IN PLAY with these clowns, and joyfully watch them get carted off to the 4th ave jail!



yeah i cant wait for the 4th! oh boy!



the cool thing is, everyone in this state is so damn tired of fires, anyone who leaves an unattended campfire, or lights off fireworks...............IS GOING TO BE MADE AN EXAMPLE OF BY THE COURTS!


already TONTO national forest has fire crews stationed in the forest, not in town, strategically placed to hit a fire ASAP! and hopefully a quick reaction will not allow a fire to get out of hand.


this is a damn scarey time for us with wildland fires.

We have to dodge bullets here.

Apparently, those in "da hood" can't afford fireworks, but they sure as hell can spend $$$ on ammo!

its 9:16am here and already 101 degrees. now you would THINK, that last year me spraying my out building roofs with water would be an indicator to these morons, that I AM NOT PLEASED with their PISS POOR MORONIC BEHAVIOR. but apparently not. i have used ALOT of restraint with these idiots in the past.

but with last years snails pace sheriffs office response, i can only bet that it will be the same thing with massive calls to them and being understaffed.

but this year...............i have the "unincorporated county area NO FIREWORKS law" etched in granite/documented and thats powerful stuff to press charges if they get caught red handed or if they split and catch them later.


they shoot them from their sw part of their property to the ne. and my (2) outbuildings are basically ground "zero".

Be quiet about it, get video of it, and then report it. Report next day again if needed.

No ban for us! Too bad I won't be buying any this year. :(

Man, it was stupid hot here today. I read 118 deg. in Phoenix. It's still too hot even at night to have fun with fireworks. Maybe I'll just empty an 18 rd. mag. of .22 ratshot with my Gatling gun/trigger crank on my 10/22. No one will be the wiser and I'll be done quickly.

Usually, there are tons of fireworks. All banned from the exceptional drought.

yeah STTOOOOOO-PID HOT it is. my power went out at 345pm. 118degrees. sheesh totally miserable. called aps power company.........worthless call. split house drove around with a/c. decided to get some pizza. that was nice and cool. came back, power still not on. buzz around some more and finally power back on 4.5 hrs later.


i have been using my swamp coolers to cool house. but after humidity spiking way above 55 degree dew point i was miserable. its now 3am. and 95degrees outside and 82 degrees inside with 66 humidity. cant sleep, pissed off, madder than a hornet that i cant sleep due to humidity.


soooooooooo...............i just turned off swamp coolers, turned water off to both, closed windows, and we iz AIR-CONDITIONED NOW! thank god. well until next power outage.



gonna run mine at 78 while in house, turn them to 85 degress when gone. should take a few hours for a/c units to draw all the humidity out of drapes and couches etc. then it will be nice finally.



man its summer big time here.

it is due to be in the mid 70's today here.
my girlfriend moved away from there two years ago and does not miss the heat or the monochromatic brown landscape of pinal county-

oh that really hurts...............really hurts. yep this is the time of the year when we deal with fires, fireworks................and excessive heat and humidity.


now the secret which a couple of people i know have managed to do is: to work 6 months elsewhere and 6 months here when its chamber of commerce weather.


my name is ODDJOB UNO..........secret squirrel/weasel. but in this weather, i can dig ODDBALL despite that being my bruddahs name and my other bruddah ODDJOB w/the hat, as nobody can tell who i am or where i am. i dont even know where i am its so damn HOT!


basically i have now hunkered down in super secret cave to hide from the sun and avoid all outside activities until its early am(now) or dark out.

right now at 6am you can cut the air with a knife the humidity is so high.




monochromatic??? come on, its olive drab green and BROWN! my pool is BLUE!



my ONLY thoughts are on how best/quickly i can make vapor barrier lines, install griffiths zoomy serpentine evaporator, WHIRBELWIND EVAP FAN(we like that word-WHIRBELWIND) and a new dryer bottle, and add r-12 back into my 911 a/c system WITHOUT SWEATING!
