weird! Beef ribs are not readily available in the bay area, california.
uncooked beef ribs.
i was tempted to buy a few packs at a texas SAMS club when i was there, but figured flying on a plane with a bunch of cryo bags full of beef ribs would be a PIA. family wants some beef ribs tomorrow. on a hunch, i called my wild game butcher. bingo! he had some, but they were cooked. i tasted one, and elected to buy two racks. delicious!! i'll warm them up slowly in a 250 degree oven tomorrow. i cannot believe they are so hard to find. californians love bone in roast, and boned steaks..all the ribs go out like that. i miss texas..i drove 60 miles today, for meaty ribs.. i made the trip worthwhile by buying a bunch of uncooked pork ribs too! i loaded up an icechest.. i'll bring floss. |
Weird. I could literally find you a ton of beef ribs without much effort. If you wanted something like 20,000 lbs., it might take me an hour or so...
I love beef ribs. They are a challenge IMO, and take more effort than pork ribs to prepare correctly. |
