CL Style Scammers on PP???
 

Got this e-mail, just like the type one gets from CL, but just in case, I editted the e-mail addy. Got two of these, 10 minutes appart.. Anyone else get one??

Scam,

He joined today. Inquiry is vague, typical for scams.
There are others that visited his profile.
Contact them to see whether he tried to buy from them too.

EDIT: the other people that checked out his profile all have cars for sale. Probably didn't trust the vague inquiry and checked him out too...

This was the last one:

with the full names, mailing address and phone number the check can be made
payable to you.

I got the same one for my car. When he asked me the price of the car despite the fact it was in the subject line of his email, well, I kinda figured out the gig.

I think you should, then sprinkle some anthr()x in the envelope, run to the ER. They will call the FBI and game on.

Should have strung him along until you can get a face-to-face w/ anyone, then we tie him up in the basement and get out the blow torch and channel lock pliers.

Why these people always talk with different "language" like they are from out of space? Why he offers test drive fee, such high price, which even make the scam so obvious? Why don't they talk normal? If they talk normal, I bet more people into their trap.

Well, Danny. I know my english is ESL, but I am not talking about English here. I am not talking about spelling and grammar. I am talking about strange offers such as "$1,500 test drive fee". Most of scammed emails I have seen are all alike. Are you saying all (or most) scammers are ESL?

Your vietnamese is correct, but sorry I don't hink your statement is correct. Saying all scammers are foreigners, I feel it is a little ignorance.
