paypal question

I do not have enough funds in my paypal account but need to purchase something. I have my credit card linked to it. Can I still bid and transfer the money later? I have never done it with my credit card, only from my bank account which I closed. This will be my third purchased with paypal or ebay, so I am real new at this.

You can purchase with a link cc. When you pay, you will have the option to pay from cc. THe preset option is always from your bank account. You will need to change the option.

I just canceled my bank account at paypal, so the only thing left is my CC account. Do I still need to change it if its canceled?

You can use a CC only. That's what I have set up.

In my case, same as your, it still pop up as echeck. I need to change the option, but that is not important. You have a chance to choose to pay from your cc.

I can't seem to get it done over at their site. It looks like I have to call them for some help. Anyone know where to click on their site to get it sorted out?

You don't have to do this ahead of time. When paying for your purchase there is a funding options link you click and switch to credit card. You're making it too hard :)

You can forward payments with a credit card. However, to receive and access funds, you need a bank account, otherwise your money stays in the PayPal account.

+1. No need to do anything before you purchase. Switching payment type is done during making payment.
