Any Mustang owners here?

Just wondering if anyone had any opinions on the Ford Mustang? Didn't Steve McQueen drive one in a movie back in the day?

Yup....I had a few of them......1988 GT 5.0 Paxton supercharged 460hp which was strong back in that day

Now I have my 2004 Cobra 500+hp along with my 1990 Carrera

The Cobra covers my muscle car needs and the Porsche basically covers everything else..(handling, quality, character)

Mustangs are great...excellent power....easy to modify and cost effective...look great and they easily compete and even put some of the higher end auto's in place.

Here are some pictures....

BTW Danny Ocean....beautiful car you had...I love that body style.

I have a 14 year old Mustang that will run circles and kick the crap out of all the Mustangs that I have seen on this board and a well set up 944.

My first car was a 13 year old Sprint 6-cyl automatic 1966 Mustang coupe, filled with fiberglass and bondo. I redid the body work and had it painted Oldsmobile "66" dark blue metallic paint color - lacquer.

Good and bad memories of it, the Mustang still is cool in my book.

When I got the car in 1985, it was in great shape but in 92 I decided to do a ground up restoration. After nine years, I finally got the car finished enough to enjoy it. The car is a 4-speed with a 408 stroker that put out 490-510 honest hp, 4 wheel disc brakes, Shelby style 4-point roll bar, functional side scoops. It handles much better than the average 40+ year old American car but maybe one of these days it will be able to run with a 944!

The interior shot is a little grainy (cell phone camera).

I think Paul must be on vacation or he would have been on this thread like white on rice.
