Daughter headed back to UC Santa Barbara
On Saturday, we are moving my daughter back to UCSB. She came home for the summer after finishing her freshman year. We bought her new furniture and as I was assembling her dresser and bed today, I thought how lucky we have been!!!
i am going to miss her beautiful voice singing throughout the house....  i guess they have to grow up sometime...David

Amen brother. Just moved my daughter back to Hillsdale for her sophomore year. She is a joy, ad she is missed.
We still have two at home, but this time next year there will only be one...

Sad around our house too, our oldest daughter is on her last year at UC Davis and our youngest is away, starting her 1st year at St Marys. This past Summer was my 1st Summer in about 12 years without soccer every weekend. I really miss it.

That's a difficult move for you and for her, a test of all the coaching you have done over many years.

One more year before our oldest moves out and starts college. She's smart as a whip but 17 and all the drama that entails. Can't wait for a few more years when she realizes how much we've learned.
