For Sale: Lakefront home in the mountains of TN

Really bummed that my sister has decided to sell her house. It's always made for super family gatherings. Let me know if you're interested! Location is Jefferson City, TN - just outside of Knoxville.

4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 kitchens, 2200 sq ft, but obviously the appeal is the lot. Asking $335K

Tour here:
LAKEFRONT MAIN CHANNEL CHEROKEE LAKE

$335K buys a lot more house in Tennessee than it does in Portland, Orygun.

Buy it and build it, something like that must be more expensive there. I didn't see a garage there but it looks like there is enough property. It's how many bugs and tornados are there. Do you need/want a storm cellar?
My condo is two story so you lose a lot in useable space , there are bigger two storys and bigger three storys in this compound. and I have to walk out to the driveway to get a view of the ocean.

Let's see. 314 views. If everyone who viewed this kicked in $1000 we could have an official spot for the Ultimate Pelican Meet.

Bugs are not a big deal and virtually no tornadoes or severe weather at all. This place is probably an hour from where I live (I live on Ft Loudon Lake a little to the southeast). As the crow flies it's probably 30 minutes, but actually getting there is probably a whole other deal.

$335k is not a bad deal. Lots of stuff like that around, but for those prices you're mostly looking at stuff that is pretty far from civilization. Needless to say, one can get "off the beaten path" pretty quickly in East TN. That's great for a weekend house (which is what most people do), but not good for a primary residence.

Not too far (maybe an hour), but the beauty is that nearly every road in East Tennessee is fun to drive on. Lots of elevation change and there's no such thing as a straight road...

Wouldn't you guys rather live in Arkansas!?! I have 9 forested non-developed acres outside of Mena for sale. Just think, you'll be that much closer to Texas...

About 2 hours away... but a very fun 2 hours! The house is on N. Ridge Dr, which can be seen if you zoom in.

Small was a joke. I was "dreaming" of lot more stuff to go with that great of a property. Definitely, it is "too big" and will be way too expensive if it's in Santa Monica BTW.
