Yahoo mail working for you?
I'm getting a blank page "Server not found. Firefox can't find the server at us.mc1215.mail.yahoo.com."
Yesterday, I managed the workaround by pressing the "can't access email" button, going through security questions, re-typing password, etc..and the email page worked. Today, NO SHIRT, NO SHOES, NO DICE. Anyone else? |
bump.
Does anyone have Yahoo Mail that is currently working? Something is messing with my business, again. |
Mine works, I just checked.

Yahoo have a history of being f'd by browser updates.
Try a different browser. |
I am using firefox 3.6.18
|
Firefox ver5.0 is updated, Windows XP Pro is updated, AVG is updated(very slowly thanks to the several years old Sprint "high speed" broadband card which seems to cut out randomly).
Several things I noticed: -Web pages don't fully load on the first try. Many fail after several attempts. -After the latest round of Windows clean/defrag, the computer ran "like a top"(i.e. normally). Immediately afterwards, the computer got another Windows update and it returned to it's old swayback nag self. -"Clearing" the browser history, doesn't always work. Sometime it take several minutes of waiting and then returns a .js error pop-up with web pages that were completely blocked originally. Javascript and Firefox add-ons were updated without effect. -The Yahoo Mail system went through an overhaul lately. It somehow worked yesterday, but not today. Still trying to access my business communication system.... I may have to go back to phone calls, paper, and smoke signals. |
Mine is working.

Mine is working but Friday it forced me to change passwords stating my account may have been compromised. My wife received the same notification.

Nothing to report here
|
I'm with AT&T which uses Yahoo for some reason. After having to reformat my laptop, I had to confirm my email address. It's been a pita since. My laptop and iPhone are no longer synched and I dont get all emails on both like I used to. I'm always asking to confirm my password for one account as well with a pop up.
|
My email account on sbcglobal.net was spoofed and AT&T made me get a new one last week,. According to their tech, many of their customers on Yahoo/AT&T email had their accounts hacked/spoofed.

Same here...

Thx, mail worked today without incident. They must have had a server fart.
Now I can deal with wayward tenants again. |
