Women that have left you in a puddle of tears

This is a really silly story:

I had barely reached puberty IIRC when I was camping with my parents up on the Snake River. One night at the campfire some kids decided to play hide and seek. A couple rounds of that and I found myself hooked up with a 14 YO girl who seemed like a goddess to me. We hustled off into a hiding spot and waited to be found.

A perfect night, cool still air with a blazing full moon. The Snake rumbled quietly off to the side. A great cover for a few whispers. Her deep red hair was just about shoulder length and messed up only slightly for a girl at camp. The moon made it look like silk.

She was maybe a year older than me by years but about 10 years older by age. I mean this was a 14 YO Daisy Duke with me out behind a rock sitting in the soft sand still a bit warm from the hot day.

I sensed she was after a little more than hiding. I should have moved on that, but I had really no idea about girls at the time. I needed to act quickly. Remember, people were looking for us. I didn't. I was frozen by inexperience. The night came to a close before there was a 2nd chance.

I thought about her all night long in my sleeping bag. I wanted to get up and find her. But, who knows what would have happened if I was prowling around the campground after lights out. I stayed put.

We were scheduled to break camp and move on the next morning as we did. I looked around constantly for the girl. Never saw her. I had my address written down on a scrap in case she appeared and I hoped we could remain in contact. I had some deep feelings all of a sudden. I had combed my hair rather carefully when I got up in case. We finally got rolling and I sat in the back seat of a huge Buick 4-door looking back at the campsite as we pulled out and around the bend. No sight of her.

I know I welled up knowing that was the end. I wonder to this day a few things. Did my parents have a clue? They didn't help any. Did she feel anything towards me? Would fate ever bring us together again?

She was from Texas and I was from SoCal. And that's how the story remains 52 years later.

My ex-wife, The Fair Godzilla, when she left me. They were tears of joy, however.

I was pretty torn up with the breakup between me & my HS GF at the time (this was a very long time ago). She was my first real love. Later I was soooooo glad we parted ways. She got deeply involved with eastern religion and turned out to be kinky in a really unhealthy way. It was after that I realized there were plenty of other nice fish in the sea, and if one left there were others for the picking.

On my first cruise with the Navy, 1986, we ported in then Bombay, India. We (I was on a frigate and there was a cruiser with us, the USS Fox) were the first USN ships to stop in Bombay in almost two decades.

We were properly feted by the India Navy, the Embassies and the locals for five days. At an Embassy party I met the coolest, best looking Indian woman...instant kismet. You know when you feel it.

We spent three days together, always with an escort, glorious even so.

Lines from a movie tell the rest of the tale better than I:

"...and my ship sails for the new world
on the evening tide."

"How is this to end ?"

"As stories must
when love's denied...with tears and a journey."

I think I was around 27.

Friend invited me to a party... being an idiot I didn't notice that everyone was paired up except my and one very stunning brunet. When she went to leave the party the light finally lite in my head so I walked here to the car and somehow got the courage to ask her for her phone number (I figured I was WAY outta my league... she was exceedingly hot).

We dated... which turned into dinner at her place... which turned into me sleeping over.

Then after a few months she announced "I'm moving to Seattle!"

I was working at my dad's business and thought I had a future there .

I was devastate, didn't date for a year or two after that.

I dated a gal when I was 30.....blonde and blue, huge tatas....smart. Fell head over, she dumped me and went back to her asshat BF that almost killed her in a car accidient.

Saw her 20 years later and she still looked hot....butterfuchinkids......oy vey. Missed a shot there....one was a 'cutter'....the other one has psych problems and was a horrible stutterer.....

Never.

I'm a rock.

I make them cry when I leave for parts unknown with only an early morning peck on the cheek, sore hips and a messed up bed.

I am very manly.

High school. Mary Davidson broke my heart when she ditched me for her ex. Who knows what happened to her.

There were a few who broke my heart. Through the magic of Facebook I've seen how most of them look today. It's not a pretty sight!

Then there's the flip side to that... a lot of the "plain" girls from high school turned out to be amazingly attractive in their 40s.

I had to travel to Bombay on business quite a few times in the 1980's.

I fell in love several times each time I was there. Stunning womenfolk.
