Seattle is expecting Sun and 75 degrees daily for the foreseeable future. I am thinking of going backpacking. It has been said that living in Seattle is like being married to a beautiful woman......who's always sick. But when she is feeling good, it is hard to imagine a more beautiful place. Standing on Capital Hill in Seattle, or Queen Anne Hill for that matter, or Beacon Hill, you can look North and see a volcano, look South and see a volcano, look East and see the Cascade mountain range with Lake Washington below, look West and see the Olympic mountain range with Puget Sound below. Two mountain ranges, two volcanoes, fresh water, salt water, the best beer and coffee in the world, more green plants and flowering plants than you can imagine. And hippies (earning enough to afford million-dollar homes) everywhere. What a place!

Agree with Super - I think Seattle is an amazingly beautiful place. I love to visit.

An excellent description of a stunning city, it really is spectacular when the sun is shining. It's probably a good thing that it rains so much because otherwise your metro population would be something like 25 million. Los Angeles suffers from smog, (though it's been steadily improving for 40+ years), when it's clear here after a storm it is knock-out beautiful as well.

Well, Don missed us but we did pickup about 1 inch of rain.

We seem to be heading back to normal...hot and humid.

Ah...that is what separates the boys from the men!

70deg. here @ 10:24 am, heading for a high of about 80, than low 80s all week w/ perfect humidity and a light ocean breeze. Get's down in the low 60s at night for perfect sleeping under the covers temp. It's been like this all summer so far.

But of course KA. sucks.

Just got home from a weekend of dog shows in Texas. At the Texas/La state line about an hour ago, the outside temperature on my motorhome read 107. Even with all of the shades down and both A/C units running, that 32-footer was a bit warm inside. (I felt like I was in a greenhouse with all of the glass around the driver's position).
